This coin depicts the bust of Juno Moneta, an epithet of the patron goddess of Rome, Juno. The temple of Juno Moneta in Rome stamped and minted coinage. The coin is very rare as it was special issue, and was likely used to commemorate the occasion of public games and sporting events. The coin is inscribed with the name MONETA on the front and the name of the minter, L PLAETORI L F, on the back.
